Learning From Disasters #0
Exhibition, Research,
Verona,
2021
LFS #0 is the first survey of a long-term project. It gathers a plurality of voices with the aim of spreading knowledge about the contemporary conditions and the urgencies that are currently unfolding across the blurred edges of the Mediterranean. The project aims to connect territories that share a condition of crisis and subalternity. We reach out to activists, researchers, artists, curators whose practice is strictly related to such fragile contexts in order to engage in dialogues on local disasters – be they environmental, political or economic – and the new trajectories they unveil. The project is conceived as an open archive, a trans-national, migrating object. Every new chapter will add to the previous ones by giving shape to an ever-expanding editorial exhibition. LFS #0 was exhibited at Lab 1 curated by Giulia Floris during Artverona, 2021.
